Hey everyone!

This post is going to be a little bit different than what I have been doing in the past. I have decided to start a blog series on my favorites to create a fun entry for my readers! The categories will be food, clothes, beauty, and health. This series will kind of be my “product review” of some of items that I have been buying and am using at the moment.

FOOD

Halo Top

healthy, fitness, supplements, nature, whole foods, natural, health, healthy, ice cream, protein I finally got to try the new craze and I love it! I couldn’t ever find any in Spain so when I was grocery shopping the other day I had to pick some up to try it. The flavors I got were lemon cake and chocolate chip cookie dough. I am most excited for this ice cream because it is packed with protein and has low calories, sugar, and fat. Great for helping those who are trying to live a healthier lifestyle but LOVE a sweet treat. I thought it was appropriate to add to my favorites!

Lilly’s Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

healthy, fitness, supplements, nature, whole foods, natural, health, healthy, snacksI became a big fan of hummus this last year while living in Spain. It is a great snack that you can eat with pretzels, veggies, or to put on some toasted wheat bread. Hummus is a fantastic and healthy option that will help you fuel yourself and help you to avoid reaching for those chips!

Oatmeal

healthy, fitness, supplements, nature, whole foods, natural, health, healthyOf course, if you’ve read my blog on my morning routine you will know that I am a HUGE fan of oatmeal in the mornings. It’s filling, healthy, and you can change it up or add different ingredients so that it doesn’t get boring. This particular bowl has:

  1. ½ whole grain oatmeal
  2. Water
  3. Small handful of blueberries
  4. Three strawberries-cut up
  5. 1 tsp of Chia Seed

CLOTHES

Old Navy Activewear Leggings-High Rise

-Since I have started my fitness journey, I wanted to buy new workout leggings. I began my research and immediately I wanted to buy Gymshark or lululemon leggings, but my bank account disagreed (mostly with the lululemon). I started looking for more affordable options and I ended buying this pair for super cheap from Old Navy because of a sale and offer codes. When I put them on I was super impressed. They are thick and have nice contour features to give your body more shape. I did do a “squat test” and they are a little bit sheer but nothing terrible that would keep me from wearing them on a leg day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality leggings on a budget!

ADIDAS NMDs

adidas, fitness, healthy, gym, gains, lifestyle, gymrat, kicks, new, clothingI’ll be honest, these were an impulse buy. I had been wanting some forever to wear to the gym while lifting weights and for casual wear. Despite the fact that they are expensive, I do not regret this purchase because they are super comfy, light, and stylish. They also breathe which is really important for your feet when exercising. Obviously, don’t wear these for running, but they are fantastic for the gym or for casual outings.

CROP TOPS

fashion, europe, basics, favorites, july, summer, crop topsMy go to this summer so far has definitely been crop tops! Especially these ones that I bought at Stradivarius in Spain. They are super cute and you can wear them with about anything. They were 3.95Euro each. These go great with leggings, jeans, shorts, skirts, and even flowy trousers. I am wearing the black one above in the leggings picture.

BEAUTY

Two Faced “Born this Way” Foundation

-I bought this recently at Sephora and it is a fantastic foundation. I had never bought really expensive makeup before so I had the lady do a 15 minute makeover on me and I fell in love with how this foundation sat on and blended with my skin. It is a medium to full coverage which I wasn’t used to cause I always had used mineral makeup or bb creams. My skin tends to be oily down the middle of my nose and chin and dry on the sides so this foundation handles a mixed skin texture great. It also matched my natural color perfectly which is usually hard for me to find because I’m so fair skinned and most foundations end up really pink or orange-y.

Becca Highlighter

-Also during my Sephora shopping trip, I came across the new Becca brand highlighters. I AM OBSESSED. They are super great at giving you that natural summer glow. They are pretty expensive but I bought the travel sized kit and got the little highlighter cream and the powder for about $20 I think. This option worked best for me since I don’t wear a lot of makeup usually so the small containers will last me for literally ever.

Aveeno Lotion

beauty, july, summer, products-Since coming back to the U.S. for summer and leaving Spain, my skin has been super dry. I am assuming because where I live in Spain it is super humid and Kansas is super dry. This lotion has been fantastic for me always. I used it a lot throughout my life and it is fantastic for sensitive skin or if you have eczema, easy skin irritation, etc.

HEALTH

This part might be a little TMI, but I think it is appropriate as these supplements have really done me a lot of good.

First, I started taking the cranberry supplements about a year ago. I can be very susceptible to UTIs, but after I started taking these I haven’t had one since. Ladies, we all know that UTIs are no fun at all. I recommend giving these a try if that’s something you struggle with as well.

Second, the probiotics I just bought, but I like them a lot so far.  These are a plant based probiotic. Probiotics are good for promoting that important good bacteria in your body. They help keep you healthy and from getting sick. They also help with digestion and fighting off any bad bacteria that may be present in your intestinal tract. healthy, fitness, supplements, nature, whole foods, natural, health, healthy

I love this idea! I’m always looking for reviews/new things to try! You should share your favorite travel gadgets each month, too.

What is the difference between plant based probiotics and regular probiotics? Aren’t they just bacteria?

Thank you! Travel gadgets would be a great idea! I don’t use too many gadgets but I will be writing a post soon about my travel tips so stay posted! Also, for the probiotics, yes they are all bacteria. I don’t prefer one over the other but the store had a deal on these so I bought them.
